AMANDO-O MAIS DO QUE A VOCÊ, IREI TE AMAR MAIS DO QUE TE AMO AGORA!

Não existe nenhum alívio em amar, pois não há um investimento seguro. Amar é ser vulnerável. Ame qualquer coisa e seu coração irá certamente ser espremido e possivelmente partido. Se quiser ter a certeza de mantê-lo intacto, não deve dá-lo a ninguém, nem mesmo a um animal. Envolva-o cuidadosamente em passatempos e pequenos confortos, evite todos os envolvimentos, feche-o com segurança no esquife ou no caixão do seu egoísmo. Mas nesse esquife - seguro, sombrio, imóvel, sufocante - ele irá mudar. Não será quebrado, mas vai tornar-se inquebrável, impenetrável, irredimível. A alternativa para a tragédia é a danação. O único lugar fora do céu onde você pode manter-se perfeitamente seguro contra todos os perigos do amor é o inferno. Se nossos corações tiverem de partir-se, e se Ele escolher este como sendo o meio de parti-los, que assim seja.
“Ele, que é o Primeiro Verbo, me viu caído e prostrado...e me chamou de irmão. Logo eu, que era apenas uma sílaba esquecida num ontem qualquer...”. De minha parte, prefiro seguir Aquele que chorou sobre Jerusalém, sobre o túmulo de Lázaro e, me amando, chorou todas as outras vezes em que neguei Seu Nome. Prefiro cair, aos prantos, aos pés ainda feridos do Homem que suportou – por mim - a nuvem zumbidora de moscas ao redor da cruz, as costas esfoladas comprimidas contra a estaca rústica, os pregos atravessando nervos, a sufocação repetida e incipiente à medida que o corpo desfalecia, a tortura contínua das costas e dos braços quando é içado a fim de poder respirar. Quando contemplar Sua Face, saberei que sempre fui amado. Ele participou, fez, sustentou e moveu, momento a momento, interiormente, todas as nossas experiências terrenas de amor. Tudo o que era amor nelas, mesmo na terra, era muito mais dEle do que nosso, e nosso apenas por ser dEle.
E com isto, onde um livro poderia começar, o meu relato termina. Não ouso prosseguir. D-us sabe, e não eu, se jamais provei deste amor. Talvez só imagine o seu sabor. Aqueles como eu, cuja imaginação ultrapassa de longe a sua obediência, estão sujeitos a um castigo justo. E se apenas imaginei, será como brinquedos partidos e flores murchas? Talvez. Só sei que descobri em mim mesmo desejos os quais nada neste mundo podem satisfazer, e a única explicação lógica é que eu fui feito – com todo o amor do universo - para um outro mundo, o Jardim, não este Vale de Lágrimas.

UM HOMEM CHAMADO JESUS

Já me disseram que, quando o Amor torna-se grande demais, faltam as palavras.
Então, o que vos falaria dEle, que já não saibais? E como faria isso?
Como falar dAquele que era e é, o Primeiro Verbo?
Ele, que é o Primeiro Verbo, me chamou de irmão! Logo eu, que era apenas uma sílaba,
Pronunciada num ontem qualquer... como falar-te?
Eu, que me contentaria com Sua lira, a que ele segurava enquanto Suas mãos eram pregadas e sangravam, Deu-me uma canção!
E, em sua canção, Sua Voz buscou meu espírito afogado... e fui trazido de volta à praia.
E Suas palavras tomaram forma dentro de mim,
E eu me tornei um homem novo!
Antes um Homem, pois o que havia era apenas um farrapo humano de imundície
Hoje não ‘tenho’ mais uma alma. ‘Sou’ uma Alma Vivente, que tem um corpo!
Como pude ser tão cego, por tanto tempo?
Como não me dei conta que havia crucificado meu Príncipe, minha Redenção?
Como cantar, senão como o canto do pássaro,
Que canta enquanto seu ninho queima ao vento?
Eu não nego a Verdade que me faz chorar,
Mas é difícil segurar a lágrima que essa Verdade traz...

A tristeza é grande demais para as lágrimas, mas nosso coração ferido deve se erguer,

GOSTO DE FLORES, AMORES E AMIZADES DURADOURAS!

A última vez que vi você foi no meio do mundo, no final de um outono
e seu coração me sussurrou que todos os românticos encontram o mesmo destino
Eu te confidenciei que era o dono do meu peito, que era imune,
Sou imune sim, mas contra corações cheios de mágoa, aborrecidos, cínicos
De maneira nenhuma iguais ao seu.
Contra este, não sou imune, não tenho a cura. Quem sabe um dia, mas hoje não.
Talvez tenha que escalar Montanhas sem ar, talvez tenha que descer às profundezas abissais.
